Differences in Grinding Process Of Rolling Bearing Rings With Different Accuracy

Answer: the type, size and accuracy of rolling bearings are different, and the grinding process of their rings is often different. However, there is little difference in their basic process and technical problems. For example, the grinding process of bearing rings 6203 and 30315 is as follows:

6203 outer ring: grinding two end faces → grinding outer diameter → rough grinding outer groove → fine grinding outer groove → super fine outer groove

6203 inner ring: grinding two end faces → grinding inner outer diameter → grinding inner diameter → rough grinding inner groove → fine grinding inner purchase → super fine inner groove

30315 outer ring: grinding two end faces → rough grinding outer diameter → fine grinding outer diameter + rough grinding outer raceway - → fine grinding outer raceway → super fine outer raceway → final grinding outer diameter

30315 inner ring: grinding two end faces → rough grinding of inner raceway → fine grinding of inner raceway → rough grinding of inner diameter → fine grinding of inner diameter → grinding of retaining edge → super fine inner raceway

For precision grade bearings, not only additional tempering, end face grinding and outer diameter processes are added, but also coarse and fine machining are separated. The methods of alternating machining, mutual benchmark and multiple cycle machining are adopted.

The process route of precision deep groove ball bearing is as follows:

Rough grinding of printing end → rough grinding of non printing end - → rough grinding of outer diameter → fine grinding of printing end → fine grinding of non printing end → rough grinding of outer groove → additional tempering → grinding of end face → fine grinding of outer diameter → grinding of outer diameter → fine grinding of outer groove → super fine outer groove

The process route of precision tapered roller bearing is as follows:

Rough grinding of narrow end face → rough grinding of wide end face → rough grinding of outer diameter → rough grinding of outer raceway → additional tempering

→ fine grinding narrow end face → fine grinding wide end face → fine grinding end face → fine grinding outer diameter → fine grinding outer raceway → additional tempering → fine grinding end face → fine grinding outer diameter → fine grinding outer diameter → fine grinding outer raceway
