The bearing type refers to the bearing type used by the air cooling radiator fan. In mechanical engineering, there are many kinds of bearings, but there are also several kinds of bearings used in radiator products: 1. Oil bearing (sleeve bearing) with sliding friction is used. 2. Use ball bearing with rolling friction. 3. Mixing of the above two bearing forms.
Each type of bearing can be divided into several categories according to different technologies, such as single ball bearing and double ball bearing. Of course, in recent years, major radiator manufacturers have introduced new technologies in bearing, so our common bearing types are also increasing! Such as magnetic floating bearing, water wave bearing, magnetic core bearing and so on are all improved from the above basic form of bearing, and the operation principle remains unchanged. Oil bearing and ball bearing are mainly used in common air-cooled radiator.
Oil bearing is a sleeve bearing with sliding friction. It uses lubricating oil as lubricant and drag reducing agent. In the initial use, the running noise is low and the manufacturing cost is low. However, this kind of bearing is seriously worn and its service life is far from that of ball bearing. And this kind of bearing has been used for a long time. Due to the reason of oil seal (it is impossible to use high-grade oil seal for computer radiator products, which is commonly known as ordinary paper oil seal), the lubricating oil will gradually volatilize, and the dust will also enter the bearing, which will cause problems such as slower fan speed, increased noise, etc., and severe vibration caused by eccentric fan caused by bearing wear. In case of these phenomena, either open the oil seal to refuel or eliminate the need to buy a new fan.
The ball bearing changes the friction mode of the bearing and adopts rolling friction, which can effectively reduce the friction between the bearing surfaces, effectively improve the service life of the fan bearing, and thus extend the service life of the radiator. The disadvantage is that the process is more complex, resulting in higher cost and higher noise.
